However, dental x-rays provide a way for our holistic dentist to view the deeper parts of our mouth, revealing any abnormalities that lie behind the surface of what the naked eye is capable of detecting. The most common abnormality is the presence of tooth decay, which can be corrected using mercury-free fillings if the decay is deep enough.
